KABUL,AFGHANISTAN - SEPT. 2: Afghan President Hamid Karzai, together with representatives of the Ministry of Public Health, WHO and UNICEF kicked off a three-day nation wide immunisation campaign against polio September 2, 2002 in Kabul, Afghanistan. The latest campaign will target 5.9 million children under the age of five and teams of vaccinators will go from village to village to ensure that all children in that age bracket are immunised.
